Do you have to use a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant for immigration matters?

A Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, RCIC can tackle immigration matters in a straightforward and more effective manner. However, you are not obliged to hire a RCIC for immigration matters.

RCIC is a professional who works on behalf of clients to guide them through their immigration application process, handles all the paperwork and presents a case with a compelling and effective approach.

Using a RCIC can be a time-saving strategy as the RCIC will take responsibility for seeing that immigration applications are prepared accurately and that the correct documentation is submitted.

The RCIC will also follow up with the processing office to minimize delays and comply with documentation requests, as well as keeping clients informed about the status of their application and any relevant changes to policy or regulations that could affect the outcome.

Who is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) ?

Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant must be a member of Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council, ICCRC.

Regulated consultants are professionals who are equipped with the latest information on immigration law, procedures and practices and go about their business according to a strict, enforceable Code of Conduct.

To become regulated, consultants must pass a rigorous application process, which requires evidence of good character, and tests knowledge and language skills.
